Hi Reader, Building websites isn’t exactly life or death. Still, the longer we do it, the more I see how far the impact can go. While Hazel and I nibbled on pupusas and soaked up the view of San Salvador last month, we couldn’t help but reflect on that. Time and time again, we’ve seen how a solid website can change a business’s trajectory. Even during tough seasons (*cough* 2025), your website keeps showing up, telling the world who your business is and why it matters. When done right, it makes it easier for your audience to find, choose, and take the next step with you. That is almost life or death for a business! Being able to play a part in that, even a small one, gives me real peace of mind. Because behind every site we launch, there’s a group of people with a story worth amplifying. That’s also why I'm so excited about what’s coming next for WholeSite (the whole reason we were in El Salvador this year). WholeSite is our way of distilling all our Left-Brain-Right-Brain expertise and scaling it to help even more small businesses. Our goal is to give you much more than a random drag-and-drop template. Instead, WholeSite will act as a strategic website builder that puts your impact at the center and supports your business for the long run. If and when we follow through, that will mean even more passionate business owners will have a digital presence that works as hard as they do. That’s our mission in a nutshell, and it’s the kind of future that keeps me energized as we head into 2026. I’m so excited to see the progress we make next year. This is my last newsletter of the year, and I’m “dying” to know what goals are front of mind for your 2026. What’s keeping you energized for the year to come? Reply and let me know! In the meantime, I hope you have a restful holiday break. Put those big goals aside for a few days and give your friends and family your energy.
P.S. If you’re a potential client or partner who wants to work together, we’d love to hear from you. Here are some ways we can help: Make a long-term impact Get started with custom website design, a 4-week website, or digital marketing strategy. Tackle short-term goals If you’re a past client, ask us about credit hours or quarterly website refreshes.

Hi Reader, June was a big month for learning, connecting, and keeping an eye on what is next in the world of WordPress. From Hazel and Rachel attending WordCamp Europe in Kraków to our team monitoring upcoming WordPress Core updates, we are continuing to stay plugged into the tools and trends that help us better support our clients and their websites. 🌍 WordCamp Europe 2026 This June, Hazel and Rachel headed to Kraków, Poland for WordCamp Europe 2026, one of the largest gatherings of the...
Hi Reader, A few weeks ago, some of our servers were hacked. The days that followed were pretty intense (think late nights, heads down and dedicated to a quick clean-up). This was the second security incident we experienced in the past year (the one before that had been at least 10 years ago). When that last incident happened, we had put in additional safeguards, so our immediate priority was understanding how it could have happened again. Hazel and I leaped into action as soon as we caught...
Hi Reader, Phone calls are my love language. I know. In a world powered by texts and emails, that might be an unpopular opinion. Sure, you can always have too much of a good thing, but there’s a reason why my catch phrase is still “just call me.” Whether we worked together 3 days ago or 3 years ago, if something comes up, a quick call is the best way for us to get to the bottom of things. I can collect the context I need (without needing a massive email chain) and point you in the right...
