November Highlights: Gratitude, Growth & Bold Ideas 🍂

Hi Reader,

This past November, we reflected on what fuels our work: gratitude, growth, and bold ideas. From fostering connections abroad, delivering standout designs, hosting impactful events with MWCA it's been a month of inspiration and purpose. As we look ahead to the holiday season, we’re reminded of the power of collaboration and community—thank you for being part of our journey!

Professional Fellowship to El Salvador & Honduras

Rachel and Hazel participated in the US State Department’s Professional Fellows Program (PFP) exchange trip to El Salvador and Honduras, diving deep into the economic empowerment of women entrepreneurs.

Highlights Included:

  • Meeting amazing new people who are making a real difference in the lives of others in their countries.
  • Taking in the beautiful landscapes and being surrounded by wonderful people.
  • Visit with the US Embassy’s in both countries to speak about the impact of this PFP program.
  • Expanding our network beyond the US borders and expanding our minds as to how we can make an even bigger impact.

Key Takeaways:

  • We are strengthened together and supporting one another is a must in the growth of an entrepreneur and in the economic impact of an organization.
  • We can learn so much by stepping out of our comfort zones and seeing how others live and listening to their stories.
  • We have so much to be thankful for.

Rachel and Hazel both left this experience with a full heart, new insights, and a renewed sense of purpose.

🌟 Project Spotlight: Agency 102’s 4 Week Website

Drio partnered with Agency 102, a woman-owned boutique marketing firm, to redesign their website and elevate their brand with our 4 week website solution.

Challenges & Solutions:

  • Challenge: Original website was built on a basic template, no longer aligned with the growing stature of their brand
    • Solution: A visually compelling, modern website with an intuitive content management system that captured Agency 102’s expertise in storytelling and data-driven marketing
  • Challenge: Lack of lead generation tools.
    • Solution: We integrated with the client’s HubSpot forms and optimized key areas for conversions. The new site encourages users to submit contact forms, book discovery calls, download resources, and sign up for newsletters, all with the goal of driving qualified leads and supporting business growth.

Results: A high-performance website that reflects Agency 102’s values and attracts larger clients, all delivered in just four weeks. Additionally, the improved backend functionality ensures that content can be easily updated in-house, providing long-term value and usability.

Client Highlight: "Knowing how important "content before design" is, Drio's 4-week website solution gave us the framework to successfully tell our brand's story in a streamlined way. The easy-to-follow prompts provided inspiration for each page and included critical SEO elements to maintain our site's organic website health and rankings."

Dear Reader, As the holiday season approaches, we’re reflecting on the incredible journey we’ve shared this year—and the vital role you’ve played in it. Drio Website Design + Development This year, we had the privilege of collaborating with remarkable organizations on website projects that showcased unique visions and meaningful missions. From non-profits championing community causes to purpose-driven businesses inspiring their audiences, each partnership has been an opportunity to make a...

Hi Reader, I often want to say “yes” to too many opportunities. There just isn’t enough time! Maybe you’re the same way? Maybe you’re shaking your head, NOPE. As a duo, Hazel and I have to be on the same page before we jump on opportunities for Drio. Sometimes we need to talk it through before we’re in agreement, and other times our intuition tells us it’s a perfect fit right away. Working together for 13 years means we know if a discussion is needed or if it’s an automatic “yes!” Since we...

Hi Reader, A garden can only grow so much without someone tending to it. And in business, no one gets very far without internal support. Rachel and I felt that when we were at the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship conference last month. It started when Carlene Cassidy from the Ratcliffe Foundation sponsored our booth, allowing us to promote The Blueprint, our guide to planning purposeful, profitable websites. That alone was huge! We met so many community college...
