Hi Reader, April kept us on our toes, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. From launching new websites to taking the stage and supporting fellow women in business, here’s what we’ve been up to this month: 🚀 Website LaunchesWe helped bring some incredible digital experiences to life this month:
💫 Supporting the Launch of the University of Baltimore WebsiteWe were thrilled to play a part in the launch of the new ubalt.edu! Our team was responsible for the front-end development, bringing the design vision to life with clean, accessible, and responsive code. This project was especially meaningful because it reflects the type of work we’re passionate about—partnering with higher education institutions to strengthen their online presence and support their mission. We were honored to be selected for this opportunity thanks to our certification as a Hispanic-owned web agency—a testament to the doors that open when diverse teams are part of the conversation. 👏 🏆 Best of Clutch Finalist – Thank You!Big news: Drio has been named a 2025 Best of Clutch Award Finalist! 🎉 We’re incredibly proud to be recognized for our work on the United Way of Central Maryland website redesign, a project built around accessibility, community connection, and an intuitive user experience. We can’t thank everyone enough for taking the time to vote, share kind words, and cheer us on. Your support truly fuels everything we do. Hi Reader, My kids are pretty used to my entrepreneurial ways. I can’t tell you how many times they’ve seen me take a work call in the car or jump into a Zoom Room from our living room. It’s the norm for them. As they get older, they get more curious about the logistics of running our business. Like the other week, I was firing off an email when my oldest son looked over and asked, “So, how many people work for you?” I had just gotten off a call with our project manager. Over the years, he’s...
Hi Reader, Building websites isn’t exactly life or death. Still, the longer we do it, the more I see how far the impact can go. While Hazel and I nibbled on pupusas and soaked up the view of San Salvador last month, we couldn’t help but reflect on that. Even during tough seasons (*cough* 2025), your website keeps showing up, telling the world who your business is and why it matters. When done right, it...
Hi Reader, November was a month of bold moves and big milestones for Drio. From taking WholeSite across borders to stepping into the spotlight here at home, we kept the creativity flowing and the momentum strong. Here’s a look at what unfolded: 🌎 WholeSite Takes a Big Step Forward - From El Salvador to a New CTO Last month, we hit pause on our usual routine and headed to El Salvador for a change of scenery and a full creative reset. The goal was simple: step out of the day-to-day, immerse...
